Hi NoviceUserMP Those new Office icons are being updated around the world, they are dividing opinion, sadly, we have no option to change those default icons on the Office shortcuts that are created automatically. If those icons are on your Desktop, you can manually create other shortcuts and change the icons, though it is a bit of a process.

When I went to my Outlook , I saw a different icons for than I saw before. Its not a big deal but I was wondering if this had to do with any update. It is version , build On another computer with Outlook , It is version , build The icons look different. Is this due to the Office Update? The reason I say this is that I was upset because I thought I was hacked. In fact, I spent alot of time, trying to get the icons back to the way they were. Who is requesting non-value adding changes to display settings, please focus on functions and not UI. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

In reply to LisaShapiro's post on October 9, Microsoft seems to explain the changes in window 10, about the new versions coming out. But not major changes in office. This is sad.
